Tomorrow - The BIG Day

Tomorrow is the big day for the induction. We are so excited to finally meet the newest Kane baby. At church on Sunday, Jim Seigel took some wonderful "before" Baby Will pictures. Hopefully this coming Sunday he can take some "afters". Caroline received a blessing and anointing from Father Gregory after Mass. Sean is traveling today to Detroit and will be home late tonight. I plan on having a lazy couple of days enjoying being a Mommy of 4 finishing my nesting!!! We hope everyone has a great week!!

Baby #5 on His Way

BABY #5 ON HIS WAY

I have finally decided to commit to updating a blog so it is easier to share the wonderful news of Baby #5 next week and to keep everyone updated on our family. We are all getting excited and anxious to meet the new little guy. My great friend Terri took some fablulous maternity pictures for us and got a great one of the 6 of us. I guess this is the final family photo before the baby arrives. I am being induced on Tuesday night at 10:00 pm so we are hoping that the baby arrives mid-day on Wednesday. We will post pictures as soon as we can. Please include us in your prayers next week for a routine, uneventful delivery (and fast!!).

Team Kane Update

A quick update on the Kane Kids.

Andrew is now 10 years old and getting ready for 6th grade. He has started tackle football (4 nights a week!) and loves every minute of it. He is quickly digesting the 7th Harry Potter book and still wakes up every morning to ESPN SportsCenter.

Katie is 9 years old and has had a great summer of endless playdates, sleepovers, Disney trips, water parks, and general all around fun. She has begun pitching lessons and is looking forward to Fall Softball. She has attended VBS and Art Camp this summer.

Matthew is 5 years old and full of fire!! He is having a great time this summer just hanging out with his brothers and sisters. He has mastered swimming and loves sports just like Andrew. He is a huge St. Louis Cardinals fans, specifically Albert Pujols. In fact, he suggested Albert for the new baby's name. He is going to Magic Basketball camp in a couple of weeks and spending a week with Oma and Pawpy in Naples. He will join Andrew and Katie at Windermere Prep this year in Kindergarten.

Julia is such a sweet, funny little one. She just turned two and seems six to us. She keeps up with "the kids" as she calls them pretty well. She loves playing with Katie, eats anything and everything you give her and will talk your ear off. She starts two days a week preschool this fall and we are anxious to see how she adjusts to the new baby.

Baby #5 will most likely be named William (middle name TBD). He is a big, active boy. I had a sonogram at 36 weeks and the doctor's quote was "Boy, he is FAT!". We are scheduled to be induced this coming Tuesday night so hopefully we will have some pictures by Wednesday.
